I was following the example in your link(specifically the one below). How do I know the server director in Windows Server 2016? " 6. Make sure you are on the right directory in command prompt.
e.g., if your server directory is “c:/users/srv2012_r2_std_x64”, on the command line type “cd c:/users/srv2012_r2_std_x64”. Note that “cd” is the command used to change directories in command prompt."
Don't know what you are talking about.
My post only revealed the cause, that if you import a certificate without its private key, then disappearing certificate in IIS Manager is expected.
The solution varies, and depends on how you requested that certificate (and how the private key was generated and stored).
Since you requested the certificate probably via GoDaddy, you should work with their customer support to learn the exact steps. Or you can hire a consultant to help you out.
