I have imported my data into powerpivot. When I click on PivotTable Excel opens a new sheet but no pivot table options show up.
I click back on to Powerpivot Window and the data table has a dialog box that says There is no active table in the current sheet.
Does anybody know what is going on?

What version of office you are using ?
once you click the pivot table option in powerpivot window .
- you will get option to choose new sheet or existing sheet .
- choose either . then click on the sheet .
- on right hand side you will see all tables and coulmn . select chk box in the coulumn it will create pivot table .
