Export to Excel extra columns RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    I have a report with column group on Month/Quarter/Year with toggling enabled.

    when I run the report quarterly i get the results I expect to see in design view.

    However , when I export this report to excel I get extra column after each quarter i..e the sum for that quarter.

    I know its  a known issue  and the workaround to add extra cell and set static to hide but it doesn't work very well.

    Is there any other solution more reliable ?

  • Hey Pragathi,

    This is common problem in SSRS. Please check merged cells or hidden cells in your SSRS report. These cells might cause the above issue.
