Why is the option "Developer Tools and SDK" always grayed in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2016 Installation Wizard?

Question

When trying to install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2016 on my computer, I also wanted to activate the option "Developer Tools and SDK", but somehow the option is always grayed. (see the screenshot file https://onedrive.live.com/?id=20F5837EC1E965B0%21120&cid=20F5837EC1E965B0). 

Can anybody help me to resolve the issue?

The software versions on my computer are listed below:

1) Windows 10 Pro

2) SQL Server 14.0.2027

3) Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2017 Version 15.9.7

You have the wrong version of Visual Studio,  you need Visual Studio 2015 and at least Professional, not Community.  Also I would recommend not to use Windows 10, even though it is supposedly supported, lots of people have issues setting up in that. I would recommend Windows Server 2016 or 2012 R2, matching your production environment
