Regarding to the error message you provided and my research, which might be related to the managed application or code that  is based on the .Net framework or CLR  requests a task context from the runtime host. As this transition is explicitly disallowed, a runtime error occurs.

For SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 when this error launched, the resolution is try to install hotfix or latest CU to solve this error from KB. Please refer to the KB as below:
    1. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981108/en-us?sd=rss&spid=13165
    2. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924289

For SQL Server 2008 R2, please try to download and install Service Pack1 for SQL Server 2008 R2, you can obtain from here: Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26727
