export SSRS report to pdf / controlling zoom

    Question

  • HI - We have a report in SSRS 2008 R2.  When opening the report in PDF it is opening with 48% magnificaiton(zoom) which is very inconvenient to read the report in PDF.  One has to manually change the % to 100 or more to see the report.  Is there any way we can make to open the PDF with 143% Magnication (zoom) when exporting/opening the report from SSRS

    thanks

  • Hi,

I think, Zoom values are not getting set by SSRS. Its controlled by the pdf reader you use.

Suppose if you have acrobat reader, you can control this from EDIT->Preference->Page Display

Here if the valie of zoom is auto then set it to 143% . This will affect all the PDF files. So, its better to set it to 100%.

  • Hi Netha,

When exporting a report as PDF format, there is no an option that let us set the zoom value. Just as Chintak said, it controlled by the PDF reader. For more information about Exporting to a PDF File, please see:
