Cant select excel sheet in SSIS Excel sourece transformation in ssis package RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I have excel sheet .xlsx file version 32 bit. and sql server 2014 64 bit version. in ssis package using excel source after select file it is not showing name of the excel sheet to mapping columns. failed to connect to source using connection manager' excel connection manager' error.

    In my server have Microsoft.ACE.Oledb.16.0 provider installed

    Could please suggest to help me on this?

  • Hi Srinivas,

    Ensure the package is developed with the project in 32 Bit mode support:

    Let's start with your development environment.

    Do you have Microsoft.ACE.Oledb.16.0 provider installed there?

    Please share a screen shot in VS with Excel connection properties showing it.

    May I know which excel version do you choose in the excel connection manager?
