ListSubscriptions ReportService2010 using Report Builder in SSRS RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm working with the ReportService2010 Class and the ListSubscriptions Method.  In PowerShell, executing against the method returns the expected items (i.e., SubscriptionID, Owner, Path, VirtualPath, Report, DeliverySettings, Description, Status, Active, LastExecuted, LastExecutedSpecified, ModifiedBy, ModifiedDate, EventType, IsDataDriven). I can produce the same columns whether I'm working against SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2 CU1) or SQL Server 2014 (CU6) using PowerShell.

    Using my 2008 R2 instance and Report Builder 3.0, I create an XML data source and specify my report service (e.g., https://MyReportServer/ReportServer/ReportService2010.asmx).

    Then create my query:

       <Method Name="ListSubscriptions" Namespace="">
           <Parameter Name="ItemPathOrSiteURL">
       <ElementPath IgnoreNamespaces="true">*</ElementPath>

    I would expect the same same columns to result, but they do not (i.e., xmlns, SubscriptionID, Owner, Path, Report, Extension, Name, Value).  I can replicate this behavior in my 2014 environment as well.

    What's interesting is I can get the correct columns to return in both my environments by using the ReportService2005 Class and ListSubscriptions Method.

    My XML Data Source:  https://MyReportServer/ReportServer/ReportService2005.asmx

    My Query:

    <Query xmlns="">
    	<Method Namespace="" Name="ListSubscriptions"/>
    So my question is... how do i get the ReportService2010 ListSubscriptions method to return the correct columns using Report Builder 3.0 and an XML data source?
