1603 error in log files RRS feed

  • Hi, help me install SQL Server 2005 32 bit. 

    It gives error 1603 in log files during installation.

    I have already uninstalled previously installed SQL server.

    The log file says :

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Files\SQLSetup0022_USER-PC_SUPPORT

    MainEngineThread is returning 1603

    and

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\summary.txt
