  • Hello Martina,

Thanks for your response i am not looking for rdl report migration .I have cofig after installing SQL Server 2012 in the Report services cofiguration manager to native and all i want is to set sharepoint mode simply . So,i can intregate in sharepoint 2010 standalone mode.

Do we need to reinstall again SQL server 2012 just to change the native mode to sharepoint config or is there any simple way .

Hope to hear from the one who knows better .

    Thanks,

  • You need to run the config utility and create a new RSA database. Mode is a database property.

  • Hello Martina,

I said that in Reporting service config manager , i cannot set the  report server mode to SharePoint since it is default set to native mode and there is no any dropdown box to choose to sharepoint mode and create RS-database.

So is there any method to change the report server mode to sharepoint from native mode within a single instance .

    Thanks,

  • Sorry if I didn't make it clear.  Mode is a property of the database, not the server.  You cannot change the mode of an existing database.  So when you go into Reporting Services Configuration Manager, you need to select "Create a new report server database".  Make the connection to your existing SQL 2012 server, and then create a new database name.  You should be able to select SharePoint Integrated Mode for your new database.

    Cheers,

  • Hello all,

Finally, after great research on this topic, I found the solution. It's not possible anymore with SQL Server 2012 to configure Reporting Services for SharePoint in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager. We have to use the SharePoint Central Administration to Configure Report Server Integration in SharePoint mode.

Check out the link below for the solution for this thread
