Importing JQuery to SSRS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have a problem embedding JQuery in SSRS.

I have added the below code into the following path : \Reporting Services\ReportManager\Pages\Report.aspx

    <script type="text/javascript" src="../AddOn/jquery.min.js"></script>

When I browse to the folder location through the web the report loads this Javascript Library fine.  However when I open the report directly through a popup (Window.Open) It fails to load jquery! Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  • I have solved my problem!

I was embedding my Javascript/JQuery in location "Reporting Services/ReportManager/Pages/Report.asp"

But when linking to my Pop-up report I was using the following URL Structure: http://ServerName/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?/REPORTNAME

I need to use the below structure so it imports these files by using "Report.aspx" and not ReportViewer

     http://ServerName/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=REPORTNAME

    Thanks

  • Hi DaleKeys12,

According to your description, you want to embedd jQuery in SSRS. Right?

In this scenario, loading JQuery should be based on HTML page. When you use a windows.open to display a report, it open the RDLC file directly. There's nothing to do with the web page. So any style we apply on the page will not work in the window. And it's not supported to embedd JQuery inside of a report(RDL/RDLC file) in Reporting Services. So your requirement can't be achieved currently.
