  • Hi experts,

    I am trying to remove a user (domain login) from database role. I selceted role, then properties, then members. It shows members list. I selected domain user and clicked remove. user disappear from list. When I click ok. I am getting "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. ..." message. I cannot remove login from this role. Any help. Thanks

  • You could try using the Roles Report from BIDSHelper http://bidshelper.codeplex.com to check your roles. This error would suggest to me that maybe one of the other role members is invalid in some way.

  • Whatever Darren has suggested is the solution for your problem. but let me explain in simple way. Open your membership tab under Roles and check either it contains any SID (Security Identifier) which looks somewhat like this "S-1-5-21-3623811015-3361044348-30300820-1013". If yes, then simply remove those and try..

    Task is very simple. just to delete member from user defined role in analysis services. Is there any way?
