AdventureWorks version in SQL Database RRS feed

Answers

  • Hello Friend,

Come on. The first option shows Azure Database, which will always be in the latest stable release. Have your stable database updated.

Csv is version 13.0.1601.5 which is a Sql Server 'SQL Server 2016 RTM'.

    The DW script says:
    ----
Summary: Creates the AdventureWorksDW sample database. Run this on
any version of SQL Server (2008R2 or later) to get AdventureWorksDW for your current version.
    ----

If in doubt run the query below to see which version is installed:

    select @@version

  • Try using the AWBuildVersion table included inside of AdventureWorks and see if that has the details you need. HTH

AWBuildVersion.csv, which is in the OLTP install script but not the other install script, lists OLTP's build number as 13.0.1601.5.  However, which version of the AdventureWorks release does that build number correspond?
