County GIS maps

    Question

  • My county (Jefferson County in Alabama) has GIS property maps on their website and when I try to view them I get a message that Silverlight must be installed. It was already installed, but I uninstalled and re-installed it. I keep getting that message. I've tried accessing it using Chrome and Firefox and IE and continue getting the same result. I am running Windows 10 with x64 based processor system and Intel Core 2.90 GHz processor and 7.89 GB of usable RAM so it looks like I meet all the requirements. Jefferson County help said their end is fine and other people that I know can access the maps. Can anyone give me some advice on what to try?

First, you can refer the following link to check system is supported or not.

I suggest you can try to fix Silverlight and install the latest Silverlight.

How to clean a corrupted Silverlight installation and then reinstall Silverlight:
