Windows runtime component for UWP RRS feed

  • Question

  • I wonder why a c# windows runtime component library is not converted to native code. I have a universal windows store app that consists of a UWP exe and a UWP windows runtime component. This store app is targeted for arm/x64/x86. When I use VS2015 to create the store package, I find out that the appx package include my library winmd file. When I open it in ILSpy, it shows all my source codes for this library. If my project is compiled to native code, why is the IL winmd still inside the appx?
