Bug - STConvexHull returns non-convex hull RRS feed

  • Question

  • Where do we go to report bugs now that Connect is gone?

    I have a very complicated geometry that when calling STConvexHull return a non-convex polygon.  STIsValid = 1. STGeometryType = Polygon.  STNumGeometries = 1.  STNumPoints is 4,592,274.  STNumInteriorRing = 235,239

I have also tried unioning it with the first point (old trick to correct winding order if needed), but that did not help. Using FME to generate the Convex Hull based on the same SQL geometry table works fine and produces expected results. This is within SQL Server 2016 SP2 CU6.
