  • Hi Noopity,

    Welcome to MSDN forum.

Please kindly follow steps below to troubleshoot.

#1. Go to Control Panel--Programs and Features, uninstall all the Visual C++ Redistribute items.

#2. Run Troubleshooter tool to fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.

    • Download and run the Program Install/Uninstall troubleshooting tool from this link.
    • Choose the first option in the tool (Installing).
    • In the program list, find and uninstall “all the Visual C++ Redistribute items”.

    #3. Restart your PC.

#4. Re-download and install from The latest supported Visual C++ downloads.

    Feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
