Unrecognized Argument ts="http://pharos/reportserver" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Trying to run the ssrs_migration_script to get an audit report.  In Microsoft Docs it says:

If you want to just audit a single server, use the same server for source and destination and cancel after step 1.

    rs.exe -i ssrs_migration.rss -e Mgmt2010 -s http://pharos/ReportServer -u INDTECH\sql-admin -p *******-v ts="http://pharos/reportServer" -v tu="indtech\sql-admin" -v tp="*******"

When running it I get the above mentioned error. Running in native mode.

  • Hi John,

What exact script were you using, would you mind share us the links?

For rs.exe this command -v states for Global Variable, which indicates that there should "ts" variable declaration anywhere else in the script. You could search for ts in the script see if anything missing.

    Regards,

    Lukas
