Relational entities and exceptions on Push RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have 2 related entities that follow 1:1 relationship. I have modeled them with 2 Table controllers and in the client I handle the relationship. For example, the parent gets created before the child in the mobile app. So the parent will be queued before the child in the client operations table.

My question is how does the SDK handle an error (exception) scenario on the parent entity push? i.e If the parent entity "POST" operation fails, (i.e it throws a 500) how will it impact the child entity "POST"?

    • Will the SDK stop syncing any subsequent operations if a previous one fails?
    • Will the SDK ignore failure of previous operations and continue with subsequent operations? (All the while still keeping the failed operation in the queue)

To ask the same question in a different manner, will the SDK wait for a valid response from each operation sync before trying to sync the next one (or do they all happen in parallel)

    Thanks.
