regarding button control

Question

Hello,developers. I have been trying to design an elevator. I almost done so but somewhere I got stuck is at up and down buttons for lift movement performing operation only one time. Can anyone tell me please how to get rid of this? which piece of code am I missing?

What is your requirement by using the up and down buttons? And what does the "performing operation only one time" mean?
