DomainUpDown doesn't allow text input

    General discussion

  • I'm using Toolkit DomainUpDown control in one of my ControlTemplates. I have binded the Value to a property in ViewModel and I'm using a Converter to convert this value. I have set the IsEditable to True but I cannot enter text input to the control. Is there some special trick to get it working or is it because my use case that it's not? Here's basically the code that I'm using:

    <toolkit:DomainUpDown Value="{Binding ViewModelProperty, Converter={StaticResource MyConverter}, Mode=TwoWay}" ItemsSource="{Binding ValueList}" Background="White" Width="50" Height="Auto" IsEditable="True"/>

    Any ideas how to start solving this?

  • Hi Telos,

    According to your description,I cannot reach the solution directly.

    Could you provide me some codes about ViewModelProperty MyConverter and ValueList?

    I guess it is caused by the Value property.

    Suggest you to delete the Value property and have another try.

    If it is working after deleting , try to delete mode=twoway or else and have a try.

    If you have any problem ,please let me know.
