Need GeoJSON DataLayer to display points RRS feed

  • Question

  • I created a GeoJSON DataLayer that needs to display points read from a Url. I know the geometry points are there since I can see it in the shapes, but I don't see the pushpins on the map. What could I be missing? There is a e.jQuery undefined message as you can see in the image below:

  • Bing Maps doesn't use jQuery, so that's likely something else in your application. As for your issue, if looks like your GeoJSON data has an icon property. If the URL's are not relative to your webpage, the icons won't be available and the pushpins will be rendered transparent (i.e. broken image link). If this is the case you can loop through the data returned by the GeoJSON module and update the URL's as needed, perhaps make them absolute rather than relative URL's. However, if the images are hosted on a different domain, they may still have issues rendering is CORs is not setup on the image servers.
