Export in silverlight 3.0 RRS feed

  • Hi, I want to export C1 chart and a grid in silverlight 3.0 in Excel, PDF formats. How can i achieve this?

  • I've had some success with having a web service build and write the file to a folder on the web server.  The folder has a public share on it.  The silverlight side does this

     System.Windows.Browser.HtmlPage.Window.Navigate(New Uri(sFileName), "_newWindow")

     where sFileName is something like

    \\myserver\myshare\myxls.xls

    include Imports System.Windows.Browser

    the xls opens in a browser but the user can save it.  This runs well on an intranet have not tried on the internet
