A very flakey and incompatible product

Question

a) we know of course never really compatible with Chrome browser

b) Not latterly not with Firefox

c) Finally trying to do so with IE says you need to install Silverlight it says same version of Silverlight is installed

But the app using it still needs silverlight  - the only reason i would touch silverlight (with a bargepole) is when an app that needs it asks me for it

Silverlight does have some limitations, and here is the its official doc which gave the installation instructions and system requirements:
