We currently have a payroll application built with Lightswitch and c#. Since silverlight will no longer be supported in another few years, I was wondering if MS has any provisions or tools that would allow a Lightswitch application to still work, without
us having to change much or any code from the current application.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone knows of any current solution that would allow a lightswitch application to work without silverlight. Thanks.
I suggest you convert LightSwitch Silverlight application to LightSwithch HTML application, which could use the same server tier and can access the same data. So we need not to change much code from the current application.
The detailed steps about how convert LightSwitch Silverlight application to LightSwitch HTML application, please refer to following thread.
But I think the first choice more appropriate for LightSwitch Silverlight application.
