  • Hello Friend,

What version of SSMS are you using to make the connection attempt?

  • Hi Suresh Kumar,

According to Microsoft official document, there are some limitations apply to SQL Server Management Studio on Windows connected to SQL Server on Linux. One of them is maintenance plans are not supported on SQL Server Management Studio for SQL Server on Linux.

However you can create your own SQL Server jobs to perform backups, index and statistics maintenance. Please refer to SQL Server on Linux: Running jobs with SQL Server Agent to get more information.

    Best regards,
