  • What do I do with error message 1618? I can't watch netflix if I don't download the Silverlight and it wont instal as it says another app  is installing.

    May be you can try to clean a corrupted Silverlight installation and then reinstall Silverlight

    Then, Download the latest Silverlight plugin and install Silverlight.

    If I have any misunderstanding, you can include all necessary code snippets/message/screenshots for anyone else to be able to reproduce your issue from scratch along with a detailed description about the results including any exception messages.

    To make sure that whether it is related tot eh Silverlight, one issue is that whether it still has this issue if you install other software.

    Other members also meet this kind of issue before, Geethu B also provided some suggestion which could troubleshoot this issue, so please check that whether it is related to the Silverlight itself or third party app or others:
