  • Just would like to know if we use Mac PC , how can we use Power BI ? is any solution for Mac user ?

      But power BI can only run on browser , how about run the client application on PC , not run on browser ?

  • To consume reports from PowerBI.com you just need a browser.

    To design reports and data models you currently need a windows PC so you would have to have a separate machine or look at something like Parallels.

         Yes , I need to design report , but I only have Mac PC .

         thanks reply , have a separate machine is not good in my case , another choice is using Parallels , I never use it , is it a virtual machine ?

    Yes, it's a virtual machine platform. I don't have a mac so I have not used it myself. I've just heard of people with macs using it to run Windows apps.

  • Since Power BI can't run on a Mac, here are our recommendations to run Power BI on Macintosh Devices. 1. Install and run Power BI on a windows virtual server or cloud azure wvd, then remote in to that Virtual Machine. 2. Install and run Power BI on a PC, then use a remote viewer to control that PC. 3. Use an alternative BI solution. 4. Install Windows on Mac using Boot Camp
