Azure Automation Source control auto-sync not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to integrate my Azure Devops repository to Azure Automation account. I referred this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automation/source-control-integration to integrate source control in automation account.

I also enabled auto-sync functionality so that whenever the new code is committed into azure devops it should get synced with the runbooks in the automation account. But this auto-sync functionality is not working for me. Whenever the new code is committed into repository it does not get auto synced to the runbooks into automation account.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • This is a bug in the service. We are working on a fix.

  • My advise is to build CI/CD pipeline in DevOps so when you make commit it starts ARM template and deploys the runbooks to the automation account. To me this is the right way to do this.
