DISTINCT COUNT THEN MULTIPLY WITH RELATED VALUE RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    how can i do this in dax?

    "=COUNTIFS(M37_LABOR.xlsb!M_37[CONCATENATED],C5)*INDEX(M61DASH.xlsb!M_61[Estimated Working Hours],MATCH(J5,M61DASH.xlsb!M_61[[CONCATENATED ]],0))"

    I think it should be done with SUMX but i just can't complete the formula.

    In My Data Model, I have a [CONCATENATED] bridge dim table .

     I need to sum the total planned hours by Concatenated ID with has an associated Plan Labor hours.

    The Concatenated ID appeared multiple times in the actual Labor Hours Table.

    So i need to count and sum the number of times that the Concatenated ID appears then Multiply it with Plan Labor Hours from Plan Labor Hours Table

    the data structured as:

    Conc_001 appears 3 times so it needs to be multiplied 3 times by its plan labor hours of 2 hours.

    appreciate the help. Happy new year!

    Thank you!
