Sln does not build in TFS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

I have a vs2008 solution in which some of the projects are a folder level above the sln file, this seems to build perfectly when I load it in VS2008 but not when I add the sln to a TFSBuild.proj file and start a TFS build. It complains about namespaces from the projects a level above. Is this something which is obvious.

    I would appreciate any help

    Thanks

  • Figured it out,  I should have seen that some projects were having references to the bin/debug folders instead of referencing the projects in the solution directly. As the bin/debug folder did not exist on the TFS server the build was failing. Added the projects in the solution,  referenced them  and removed the hardcoded links and everything was fine
