  • Hello,

I am having trouble keep my connection active for little while, its keep failing with error

    Msg 10054, Level 20, State 0, Line 0
A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)

And this error happens even in between executing the stored procedure, or queries, not a lengthy query...

    We are using Gen2: DW3000c.

Please let me know your findings and tweeks. Appreciate your help and knowledge.

  • This is normally a connection error which indicates that there is a firewall preventing the connection, or that SQL Server is not listening on a particular port - ie 1433.

Is there anything on the SQL Server log indicating what the error might be?
