After Server Name Change - Not able to change properties of WCF-WebHTTP adapter port RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We had to change the BizTalk 2020 Server name, App and SQL both on same server.

After Server name changed, we compiled updatesampleinfo.xml and updated DB Server names and Update Registry files, restarted all services.

BizTalk is working fine with other adapters, Just WCF-WebHTTP adapter is throwing this error if trying to change any property in existing port or creating new port for WCF-WebHTTP. Not sure where still the reference is left for OLD Server Name.

Could not contact the SSO server 'OLD Server Name'. Check that SSO is configured and that the SSO service is running on that server. (WinMgmt)

(RPC: 0x800706BA: The RPC server is unavailable.)

    Please help.

  • Hi All,

I figured it out. Those Scripts does all the job for us except one place I guess. My Admin Console was still referring to old server name. Renaming it in BizTalk Group properties did the trick.
