Syncing multiple Outlook Calendars to SharePoint 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My office works off of Outlook 2013 and we are trying to recreate our team calendar on SharePoint via overlays of synced personal calendars so we can have colors. When adding an over lay with the Exchange option it can automatically fill in the Outlook Web Access URL and the Exchange Web Service URL. This works to sync the Outlook of the current user logged into the desk top. When some views the calendar logged on to a different desktop it will only show their own personal Outlook Calendar. I'm assuming it's because the URLs are the same so it's just pulling from that data. Is there a way to add something to the URLs that would make it possible to customize them or something so we can have 6 different calendars syncing automatically and not just 6 of the same calendar in 6 different colors?

Inserted an example of the calendar syncing just the same calendar twice:

    Thanks!

  • Hi radmadd,

Whether you created 6 overlays for different users in your organization?

If true, there is no way to show all users’ calendars with six overlays, that is, the Exchange calendar overlay works with the account credentials of the user who is current logged on. SharePoint uses the account information of the current user to retrieve calendar data from the Exchange Web Service.

We could create one overlay and each person log to the list will see their own calendars.
