Retracting solution stuck hangs

Question

I am trying to remove a solution wsp from SPF and it won't work with any command. it just hangs there saying it is retracting for ever. any ideas? thanks

I have tried:

Uninstall-SPSolution

stsadm -o retractsolution  with immediate

Check SharePoint administration service is running or not. It is is running please restart(stop and start) and try to uninstall again.

if it is still stuck execute below command to know more about pending jobs

stsadm -o enumdeployments

Try to remove the solution with force commnad

Remove-SPSolution -Identity your.wsp -force

thanks the force did it without retracting. but I was able to reinstall again.

Hello

I restarted both the SharePoint administration and timer services

Then it was still retracting forever so I canceled the retract (the solution shows as not deployed now)

I ran

Remove-SPSolution –Identity BLG.Website.WebParts.wsp

It is gone :)
