U-SQL Project code editor freezes and does not allow typing

When I create U-SQL Project, the code editor freezes and does not allow typing on code editor window at all.

According to your description, which version of visual studio you use? Please make sure that visual studio has been updated to the latest version. You could try the following steps:

• Turning of all of intelli-sense features
• Clean-up Visual Studio cache https://www.matteopozzani.com/visual-studio-cache-cleanup/
• Clean-up MEF cache https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=MadsKristensen.ClearMEFComponentCache
• Re-create project file (and add scripts)
• Visual Studio plugin uninstall & reinstall
