Define who recieves mail notification about access request

    Question

  • Question regarding SHAREPOINT 2013 Access REQUEST sent by mail

Is there a way to define that owners of the sites would recieve Access request.

Currently I think that only site collection administrators recieve those, but I'm not sure

  • Yes you can.  Go to Site Settings -> Site Permissions.  In the Ribbon, click on Access Request Settings, then specify an email address there.  If you need more than one person to receive the access request, create a distribution list and use the DL email address instead.
