    estou tentando chamar um webservice, mas tenho a seguinte mensagem de erro, que não consigo encontrar o motivo..

    Acontece quando vai chamar o webservice. É um autocomplete...

    Only Web services with a [ScriptService] attribute on the class definition can be called from script.\r\n  Source: System.Web.Extensions\r\n 

    algum ja teve este problema?

    Fala Sandro,

    Acontece que o seu webService tem que ter os atributos [System.Web.Services.WebMethodAttribute() e System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptMethodAttribute()]

    De uma olhada neste link: http://www.asp.net/ajaxlibrary/act_AutoComplete_Simple.ashx ele demonstra como se deve criar um auto complete passo a passo.

    Segue abaixo um exemplo:

    [System.Web.Services.WebMethodAttribute(), System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptMethodAttribute()]  
public static string[] GetCompletionList(string prefixText, int count, string contextKey) {  
    return default(string[]);  
}

    OK?
