Publish a report via Reporting Service on Visual Studio 2010

Hi All,

There's a reporting service that I can access the URL via WAN but when I try to deploy a report I receive the following error message: could not connect to the report server http://myplubicipaddress/reporserver2008. Verify that the targetserverurl is valid and that you have the correct permissions to connect to the report server. The request failed with HTTP statua 417: Expectation failed (System.Web.Service).

My question is: I can access through http, so port 80 is opened. Does the deployment use a different port so it could be a firewall issue? I'm behind a proxy.

A publicação de relatórios utiliza SOAP, a porta usada você pode definir no reporting services configuration manager. Mas por padrão é 80.

Hi ben,

You have access this server and specifies port?

Verify firewall  blocked this port.

Using Reporting Services Configuration Manager for Setting this port in your Reporting.
