  • hi All,

    I am using MS office 2003 DE version, can i make an exe from my mde file. If is it so, then please tell me how??????

  • The developer edition for Access 2003 works the same as the free one for 2007, and 2010. In fact in most cases you can use the 2007 or 2010 runtime to "run" your 2003 application.

    The 2003 devleoper edition was not free, and was in fact quite expensive. I don't believe it is avaible anymore for purchase. As noted, the 2007 and 2010 versions are much the same, and  these newer free versions should run your 2003 application anyway.

    Keep in mind that none of the versions ever did turn your application into a .exe. The runtime is simply a version of Access you can install on computers for free which then allow you to run your application.
