how to change location of organization asset library location RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

As SharePoint online allows to create organizational asset library so common content can be shared for all site collections. But microsoft mentioned that all organizational asset libraries should be on same site collection. We have created organization asset library on one of the site collection (Site Collection A) but now we want to change site collection so that all organizational asset libraries on different site collection (Site Collection B).

We have deleted all existing asset libraries from site collection A but we are not able to create new asset libraries on other site collection.

Can you please help regarding this?

    Thanks and regards,

    Shardul Pasare

  • Hi Shardul,

Please go to Site Collection B, and click Site settings->Site Collection Administration->Site collection features, and then active the feature "SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure".

And add asset library app in this site collection.

    Best Regards,

    Dennis
