PowerApps&Flow integration with SharePoint 2019 on premise RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

We are fascinated about PowerApps&Flow and are looking forward to upgrade our SharePoint to 2019 on premise version and start writing apps&flows using PowerApps&Flow. But are there licences included (like PowerApps for Office365) for on premise SharePoint 2013/2019 or we must buy PowerApps Plan 1 for all employees? Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Chingis,

Yes, if not have Office 365 subscription, it is necessary to buy a PowerApps Plan and configure data gateway to use.

You can check the link below for more detailed of PowerApps Pricing, choose a Plan which suitable for you:

    Thanks

  • Hi Chingis,

For calling SharePoint On-Premise data using PowerApps, we need to configure data-gateway like this document specified:

Understand on-premises data gateways for canvas apps

And if you already have a Office 365 subscription, then not need to buy stand alone PowerApps again, use Office 365 Cloud Apps to connect with the data gateway is enough.

    Thanks

    Best Regards

  • Thank you, Jerry

Actually we don`t have O365 subscription. We have only SharePoint2019 on premise, and going to buy only one Plan 2 of PowerApps for the developer. Does it mean, that we must now buy licences of Plan 1 of PowerApps in order to let users utilize created apps using data-gateway for Sharepoint 2019 on premise? We want to use PowerApps instead of SharePoint designer like our new "SharePoint designer".
