Managing alerts Sharepoint online 2013 RRS feed

  • We are facing issue a small issue in sharepoint online. To be precise any activity e.g. upload of documents, edit, addition etc. by one of the team member should be known to the administrator; at the same time any requests and notifications sent by the administrator should be known to the team members. The problem is none of them get to know such activities unless they log into the portal. The login ids of the users and administrator are 'username@companyname.onmicrosoft.com'. I think the alerts are sent to that mail id, not sure though. While the users have their regular mail id configured within outlook as 'username@companyname.com'. Is there a better way to address this matter?
