How can I run Microsoft Bob on a 64 bit OS? RRS feed

  • I am a retro geek, but i only have 64 bit based Microsoft Windows 10 Pro computers and it displayed an error message that this software is not supported by a 64 bit OS. If there is something I can do PLEASEEE tell me. Thank you

  • Hi SuperEtienBros,

    Microsoft BOb is a 16 bit application and simply will not work on 64 bit based Microsoft Windows 10 Pro.

    But here is a post about running Bob on Virtual 2004 PC, which said BOB was a graphical shell that ran on top of Windows 3.11 and Windows 95. 

    Therefore,  a Virtual Machine solution might work for you.

    You can install 3.11 or 95 in a VM, and then install Bob on that.
