I wonder if anyone can help, we have a Word document that is created using the DocumentFormat OpenXML 2.11.3 SDK for C#.
When attempting to open the file I get the following error message:
Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
- Check the file permissions for the document or drive
- Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disc space
- Open the file with the Text Recovery converter
I have followed all the steps suggested to recitify this problem, I have unblocked the file, tried opening from the network share where the original copy is saved etc none of these work.
We have some historic files that open ok and now no longer open. The problem seems to be in versions after 16.0.13127.20266.
I dont really have much knowledge of the SDK used to generate these documents so any help would be appreciated
