Base64 encoded image embedded in mail Issue - small image

Question

Hi Team,

I have an application which send mail to clients wishing on their birthday. I am including an image in mail which is base64 encoded.

The issue is the image is rendered as a small image by default in Outlook client. Only when i click on "show in browser" the actual image size displayed.

Is this a known issue?

Do we have any workaround/fix for the same?

1. Which Outlook client you are using for this? "Outlook Desktop", "Outlook Mac", "Outlook Online (OWA)" or from Mobile phone iOS/Android?

2. Which API are you using to add attachment in email?
