  • Site Collection Storage Quota can only be updated at Central Admin level / Tenant Admin center, So i don't think you can set it by using Rest API/JSOM. Rest API/JSOM are not supported at Central Admin Level Settings.

  • Hi Prudhvi,

Rest API/Jsom can be used to read storge qutoe information like the demo below:

Display Site Usage & Quota Information in SharePoint

However, both of them didn't provide function to update storge qutoe, it's still necessary to use Server Side code to achieve:

Change SharePoint Site Collection Quota using PowerShell

    Thanks

    Best Regards

  • Hi Prudhvi,

For On-Premise Environment, SharePoint CSOM library not provide class that can update storage quote in Central Administration, it's still necessary to User Server Object Model PowerShell.

For SharePoint Online, there is PnP library which can update the storage quote of site collection:

CSOM: Update Quota in SharePoint Online

    Thanks

    Best Regards
