Looking to lock parts of Word document (tables/cells) RRS feed

  • I know how to apply certain locks to shapes/images in a PowerPoint presentation, but I now need to be able to lock cells in a table in a Word document.

    Is there any locking or protections that are available either for the entire table, or at a cell level? I would like to disable the user from editing certain cells or adding rows, but would need to be able to add/remove rows through a VBA script or to update calculated field values in those locked tables/cells.

    Is this possible?
