Hi Every one,

Why SharePoint Video (media webpart ) is not playing in Chrome asking to install Silverlight .

Is there any solution.

Please let me know.

Chrome doesn't support for the SharePoint Video (Media WebPart) you should be using Internet Explorer IE fro Videos.

Hi Sowjanya,

Chrome browser didn’t support NPAPI plugins since September 2015, this means plugins, such as Silverlight and Flash, will no longer work by default.

Reference: Microsoft Silverlight may not work in recent versions of Google Chrome

So the suitable way is to use a browser that supports Silverlight content to access a Silverlight page.
