Workflow Lookup not working in sharepoint 2013 designer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a list which was created to manage sharepoint site requests. When an item is submitted a workflow fires off(Assign a task) workflow action which stores id and outcome in the workflow variables . i have a tasks list called( workflow tasks) which was following columns:

    • List 1
      Name:Single line of text
      number: Single line of text
      Gender:Single line of text
request status: drop down column( request submitted, rejected, approved)

    • Workflow tasks:
      task name:
      Assigned to:
      Description:
      Comments:

In my workflow if the Workflow tasks outcome is rejected, i am sending out an email to user who created it(createdby) with  following email:

    Dear, [%Current Item:Created By%]

Your request to the site has been denied. Please review the notes from  the reviewer:

    [%Association: Task List:Comments%]

For some reason this workflow doesnt fire off when i include [%Association: Task List:Comments%]

That is the lookup for the workflow tasks list Comments field, which is filled up when user rejects the request.

On my look up this is what i am doing

I dont know why is this not working, when i take look up out email fires off appropriately.

    Thank You
